Hirai Ken's popular Japanese R&B singer. He is one of Japan’s best selling singers in recent years. He become professional singer when he applied to Sony Music Entertaiment Japan audition in 1992 called "Breath" and win award as the finalist from 7,500 contestants .He made his debut with the release of his single Precious Junk, which was also the theme song for a TV drama in 1995. Since the song was a hit due to the TV drama, the single sold relatively well.
